BIGwednesday

Our next BIGwednesday is coming up November 4! Were going to be at GREAT JUMP in Milpitas. Head to http://greatjumpsports.com/TrampolineCourtReleaseNew.pdf to download the release form. the address is 616 S. Main St. Milpitas, CA. well be there from 630-830pm. cost is $14 for two hours (or $9 for one hour). if you can stay late, well be heading to taco bell on main street, just walking distance from great jump, for a late dinner.

TUGGLE

We have started an online community for those who are part of theHOUSE Student Ministries. its called “Tuggle”. i know thats a funky name, but hopefully a memorable one. our direct link is http://thehouse.tuggle.it, or you can find a link on our website http://thehousemilpitas.org. the format will be very familiar to anyone who has a myspace or facebook, but it is meant specially for internal use within our community. every new member is screen by our team, and there are loads of built in safety features. this is, in a nutshell, going to be the best way for your student to be connected with us! going to a camp? GREAT! we’ll already have all of the information we need, so you dont need to fill out those pesky information forms. want to make sure your student is always in the know with theHOUSE? GREAT! using some built in communication features, we will always be able to connect with your student and make sure them, and you, always have all the information you need!

KIDS CLUB - Middle School Edition

As most of you know, we have a KIDS CLUB outreach at russell middle school and are looking for leaders! we would love your prayers as we begin another school year!

Parents, we need your help! we are cutting back expenses on a weekly basis, and are looking for parents to donate snacks for our wednesday and sunday programs. we have had some parents faithfully doanting for our programs throughout the summer, but as the number of students has grown, so does the need for more food! if you can commit to once a month, or once a week, please reply back to this email!

SUNDAYS - WE’RE BACK!!!

Yes, you heard right, starting this Sunday, YOUTH SUNDAY’S ARE BACK. Starting sunday september 6th, our new sunday youth schedule will be as follows: 1st sunday of the month, the youth will be leading worship in the main service, and staying to particpate with the adults for the message; 2nd-4th sunday the youth will leave at the meet and greet break at 11am for a youth service in the youth room; and on any 5th sundays, the youth will either help out in 1st-6th grade classrooms or join in the main service. we are so very excited to be back in our youth room on sundays, and when we start up again, we will continue our survey of the bible!

LEADERS NEEDED!

we have been blessed with an amazing leadership team, and a growth in numbers, so we are currently looking for more leaders to join our team! there is no one model for the person we look for, whether your old or young, trained or not, male or female, high energy or reserved, there is a place for you! we are looking for adults (over 18) who LOVE the Lord, and LIKE students. anywhere from camps, to Wednesdays nights, to bible studies, to fun events, to small groups, to prayer,
